I know that this was on the roadmap. Is there a beta version I can try out ??

or at the very least, a release date for the new ElkRM that includes an iPhone interface?

Absolutely.. I would think that porting the Java interface from the ethernet module to something that would run on iPhone as a webapp would be easiest... I have a few folks who have asked, and SmartHome is working on their own Insteon-only interface.

Can there be an aplication that the user can download onto the iPhone? Or do we have to interface through a crestron and another aplication, such as the i love control aplication?

Count me in for wanting a port of the java interface to an iphone webapp.

I agree also. An IPhone interface would be outstanding. I personally do not have an Iphone but I have a IPod touch and use it for all kinds of things besides music. It truly is a revolutionary device.

Add me to the list for the iphone/ipod touch interface. One for the configuration interface would be good too.

ekeypad looks pretty cool. Hopefully they will add control for lighting, t-stats and be able to view temp sensors.

I just found out Ek plus will be available before Thanksgiving and will have lighting, climate control and more. Great News!

Downloaded EK plus. This seems to work fairly well on first try, but is quite expensive for an iPhone app, $45.

Agreed. Many users would probably want a lower cost for this type of app. It's very nice though to control stuff instead of booting up a laptop. -=*Sharby*=-

I've had the chance to use Ekeypad plus for a while now and am impressed. It gets better and better with each update. Jayson, the developer has been great to return emails help with any issues. In my opinion, the functionality is well worth the price. I find myself using the iPhone app much more than ElkRM which I paid much more for. (Not complaining about ELKRM either) The ability to control my alarm, thermostat, lighting and see zones quickly right from my pocket has been great. Having the ability to control from any cell phone in my mind really takes automation to the next level.
