Logging Telepone User Activity
Posted by rmorten on 12/24/2009 10:02 AM

Since it is necessary to enter a valid user code to "talk" to the Elk M1 via the phone, is there a way to log which user called the M1? Currently disarming the system via telephone is logged as follows:
REMOTE PROGRAMMING
AREA DISARMED "No Code" (User 203)
REMOTE PROGRAMMING ENDS

This disarming was performed by firing a task that disarms the system and opens a garage door which may be the source of my missing user entry in the log. I would like to know (and log) which user fired this task.

I thought I asked for this some time ago but realized it was buried inside a response to someone else's question (Writing a non-alarm event to the log.)

Can I get a response on this?

If you Disarm using the Menu Options it should log the User but whenever a Rule Disarms the system is going to Log No Code.
